Introducing the basic features of Word to give a good grounding in managing documents easily.

Course Details

Audience: All YSJ alumni, students and staff

Format: One hour in person on York Campus

Prior knowledge: None

This course includes:

• Changing the appearance of text and copying styles using the format painter
• Using spell check and comments
• Setting up pages, margins and controlling page breaks
• Using cut, copy and paste effectively
• Adding and manipulating pictures
• Saving and version control using OneDrive
• Zooming and changing the document views
• Adding basic page numbering
• Word on the web (Microsoft 365)
