A slimmed down version of our Word courses focussing on skills most useful in the workplace.
Course Details
Audience: All YSJ alumni, students and staff
Format: One and a half hours in person on York Campus
Prior knowledge: Basic Word skills
This course includes:
- Using Styles for consistency and adding a table of contents
- Search and replace and the navigation pane
- Setting the default normal style
- Making documents accessible
- Using Mail merge to personise letters and emails
- Adding Page numbers, headers and footers, and watermarks
- Working with web Links and Smart art – e.g. organisation chart
- Using comments and a brief introduction to Track changes
